New baby in the family!

My sister had a her baby on september 4th. Hes so beautiful. We havent had a new baby in the family for 8 years so its super esciting. I have been waiting 9 months to take these pictures. They turned out GREAT!

Vinyl on cars!

finally got a chance to play with my cricut and MTC software. I love playing with vinyl!

Downtown St. Louis and the Arch

Finally, before heading home Sunday, we went to the arch and walked around downtown St. Louis. Such a great place to visit. The parks downtown are so much fun to play in. It was very hot so the fact that there was a "splash pad" was awesome!

City Museum

After the zoo we decided to head over to the City Museum in downtown St. Louis. This has got to be one of the coolest places I have ever seen! there are tubes and tunnels and stairs and slides. It is crazy. The kids had a blast here. Especially Jacob. climbing and exploring is definitly his thing. every tunnel or cave you entered took you to some wierd new place. I think my husband loved it as much as the kids but the place was not built for a 6 1/2 ft tall man! I think he even got stuck in one of the slides. LOL

St. Louis Zoological Park

Ok so last weekend my hubby decided it was time for a road trip. We took the kids to the St. Louis Zoo, the City Museum, and downtown to see the arch. The last time we had been to St. Louis was in 2001 when my son was 2. This time around was a blast since my kids are older.

Oh so much to catch up with!

I have been sooooo busy lately and havent had the chance to get on here and update so I am doing it today. First I was busy busy busy with preparing for my sisters baby showers. I made the cake(s) and my gift to her was my very first diaper cake. Let me just say, I love it! I wish I new somebody else having a baby because i would love to make another one! So here are some pictures of those. One of these days I may actually scrapbook a layout and post it here! :)

My first cake!

I recieved my cricut cake in the mail a couple days ago and was finally able to bake a cake and play with my machine! I think i am going to really like it.
I baked this cake just as a practice but since it was our anniversary I made it an anniversary cake. I need a little (o.k. a lot) practice with my piping and such but am happy with it.
